Cape Cod Lacrosse has been an opportunity for me to give back to the community that helped me start a career in the sport of lacrosse. I have two main objectives in the programs I run with CCLax: to provide top-notch instruction in all of our programs and

Frequently asked questions about
Cape Cod Lacrosse's Instructional Programs

Who can attend the CCLS?

The CCLS is for boys or girls ages 8-16.  Both local and seasonal residents attend the CAMP each year.

What skill level or experience is required for the CCLS or Shooting Clinics?

The CCLS is a great place for any player regardless of skill level or experience to enjoy 4 days of lacrosse and lacrosse related activities.  Our SHOOTING SESSIONS are not designed for beginner players. Players attending the SHOOTING SESSIONS are players looking to take their game to the next level.

What time can I drop my child off before a camp, clinic or lesson?

At all of our CAMPS, we will provide supervision 30 minutes prior to the start of CAMP each day.  At all of our LESSONS & CLINICS, we can only guarantee our staff to on site to provide supervision and guidance 15 minutes prior to the start of all LESSONS & CLINICS.

Why do I have to be a US Lacrosse member to participate?

All participants in every program run by Cape Cod Lacrosse must be an active member with US Lacrosse.  This is for insurance reasons.  In order for CCL, it's staff, participants and the facility to be covered by insurance, 100% of our participants must be active members with US Lacrosse.

Which instructional program is best for me?

We have a program for just about everyone.  All of our CAMPS have the ability to challenge every player.  We take pride in differentiating our instruction to the level of the player. We over-staff our camps, so we can spend 1 on 1 time when necessary for players who need 1 on 1 help or to provide challenges for a player who is more advanced.  Our SHOOTING SESSIONS are not designed for beginner players. Players attending the SHOOTING SESSIONS are players looking to take their game to the next level.  We can also create LESSONS for any player of any age that will be sure to challenge them and improve their game.

At camp, what do you do about lunch?

All campers must bring their lunch in a cooler of some kind.  We will take a 45 minute break from lacrosse each day where campers must eat their lunch and have some down time.  Cape Cod Lacrosse will provide water and bathroom facilities.

Will you have an athletic trainer on staff?

We will have an AT on staff at all day camps.  We have hired Jamey Conley from Springfield College.  Jamey will serve as both a coach and as our trainer for the summer of 2013.  He is a sophomore midfielder from Waltham, MA and also a student-trainer for both the Men's Soccer and Basketball teams at Springfield.

What is your refund policy?

Cape Cod Lacrosse reserves the right to refund in full, only those that request a refund 10 days prior to a scheduled event.  Refund requests received within 10 days of an event are entitled to a 75% refund.  Refund requests received within 5 days of an event will receive a 50% refund.  No refunds are granted after a program has started.
