We will break down the skills used in the following categories:
Carrying the ball properly in both hands
Scooping the ball in and out of traffic
Throwing & Catching in the appropriate hand
Shooting - Time & Space, On the Run & In Close to the Goal
Defensive Positioning and Footwork
We will have an excess of balls at each session to maximize the repetitions for each individual. We will also use other aids to improve preformance including shot blockers & targets, radar guns, ect. to enhance the learning experience. Goalies and defensemen can benefit from this program just as much as offensive players. There isn't a goalie or defenseman in college lacrosse that doesn't possess these skills.
Players only need Helmet, Gloves Stick and Cleats for this program.
